QR Paste Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 19, 2026

QR Paste does not collect, store, or send personal data or input text.

1. Information collected

This app does not collect names, contact details, location, device identifiers, usage history, or input text. There is no account.

2. Input text and QR codes

Text typed in the app and the QR codes it creates stay in memory on the device. They are not sent to a server or a third party, and they are gone after the app is restarted.

Text received from the iOS share sheet is stored briefly in a private App Group that only this app can use, then deleted as soon as the main app receives it. If the app cannot open immediately, it receives and deletes that text on the next launch.

3. Clipboard

The app reads the clipboard only when you tap Paste. That text is used on the device to create QR codes and is not sent or saved.

4. Saved settings

Only split size and the Max brightness setting are saved on the device and restored on the next launch. These settings are not sent anywhere. Input text and generated QR codes are not saved.

5. Network

The app works fully offline. It does not use ads, analytics, crash reporting, tracking, or external APIs.

6. Third parties

Because the app collects no information, it does not sell, share, or provide data to third parties.

7. Screen display

Android and iOS do not restrict the usual system screenshot or the app switcher preview.

8. Children’s privacy

The app does not collect information regardless of age. There are no ads or tracking aimed at children.

9. Changes

If a feature change affects how information is handled, this page and the store listing will be updated.
